1. Personal Monitoring Systems eg the Roland M-48
2. Electronic Drum Innovation eg E-Pro Live
3. Diminutive Sermon Mics eg Countryman E2
4. Video Collections eg Let the congregation submit HD video clips for sermons, etc
5. Mobile Apps eg SongSuggest!!! for Worship Leaders
Thats right – we are thilled to make the list – alongside some heavy names whose local marketing budget is bigger than our whole business. It’s our sincere hope that it will be helpful to worship leaders. Here is what they said:
“For worship leaders, Song Suggest from http://WorshipApps.com is a handy “kick starter” to the weekly task of song selection. Using a three-prong approach of song theme, key, and tempo, the app offers a range of suggestions appropriate to the request. When one of the songs is chosen, it then can be investigated further to learn its author and CCLI number, with quick links to YouTube to see a video of the song and iTunes to purchase the song. There are also two Google links available, one for lyrics and one for chord charts, plus a handy way to locate a song in which the title is unknown, but partial lyrics or the writer’s name is known. Songs are folded into Binders to create a set list. The app even has a thoughtful “Share” icon for users to suggest new features or report any issues.”
And if you don’t have an iPhone/iPod Touch, you can now download SongSuggest for the desktop – for FREE!
Thanks to Kent Morris at ChristianityToday/Your Church for including us in their tech-buy recommendations. No need to wait till 2011 tho!
